County Kildare Anti-War Group - No To War & Occupation - Demonstration An anti-war demonstration will take place on Saturday, 19th April at 2.00 pm in Newbridge.

This demonstration aims to:

- highlight our oppostion to the bombings and killings undertaken by the US and UK forces;

- show our solidarity with the Iraqi people;

- demand that the Iraqi people are allowed to democratically govern their own country;

- condemn the use of Shannon Airport for US military purposes

The demonstration will commence at Morrefield Green (the green area opposite Dunnes Stores Shopping Centre, beside Woodies DIY store), Newbridge, and will proceed through the town and will end with a rally at the Riverbank arts centre. The rally will consist of speakers and music from local groups.
